The importance of sensory

From birth through to early childhood, children use their senses to explore and try to make sense of the world around them. They do this by touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, moving and hearing. Sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain’s pathways, which lead to the child’s ability to complete more complex learning tasks. Sensory play supports language development, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive growth, problem solving and social interaction. Learn more.

Our sessions

We start every session by gathering together to sing songs and rhymes, explore messy play and enjoy many resources using our senses such as light up balls, musical instruments and colourful ribbons. Check out our timetable to see which class is best for you.
Interactive Experiences
You then have the chance to explore the exciting and inspiring activities that are set up on your own with your baby.
Stimulate & Educate
Every week the activities will further develop your child’s physical, cognitive and communicative development, whilst building on their confidence. You will also gain ideas on experiences you could provide for your child at home too.
Provide Memories
Along with adding to your memories you will have the chance to meet and talk to new Mums and Dad's.
